Chloe Ting – 2018 Summer Shred Challenge.

Day 52.

I woke up a little late this morning. Later than usual. And honestly, I just didn’t feel right this morning. My stomach didn’t feel very good, and I feel a little bit like there was a slight dizziness I was trying to ignore. I genuinely thought today was just going to be an off day that I would have to make up for tomorrow. But I refused to do that because of the way this week is set up to lead into next week. Tomorrow is the only rest day. The ONLY rest day. So I refused to make today a one off rest day. I ignored the weird feeling of my body and got into the workout.

Warm Up.

Next week will be a different warm up. But after this warm up I didn’t feel weird anymore.

Legs & Booty.

It took eight weeks but with this my lower back no longer cramped. Actually, I felt really good about this workout. My legs and butt must be getting stronger. So, even though I don’t look any different in the eight weeks. I am definitely getting fitter and stronger at least.

Full Body Burnout.

This still killed me. Clearly my cardio needs a lot of work. But I got through it, burpees and tuck jumps in all. What makes this worse is a full minute of burpees and there are only like, what… ten seconds rest between? Oh my god.

Abs.

My abs really, really burnt at this point. I pushed my body until my abs and my lower back burnt or ached. Oh wow, I was exhausted. I managed to get through it though.

Cooldown.

I really pressed into the stretches for my hip flexors. I don’t think it made much of a difference but it was worth a try. This is the last week before the warm up and cooldown videos I follow will change.

I feel better now. But this morning I woke up and didn’t feel right. I don’t know what that means. It might just be the extra sense of tiredness from the fact that I am training on top of the workouts. But tomorrow will be a properly rest day. I was going to train with it anyway, but I might just rest completely.
