Chloe Ting – 2018 Summer Shred Challenge.

Day 26.

The rest day was much needed. That drained ache that I was starting to develop faded with the rest day. However, sadly the rest day went by so fast, and I didn’t get to completely rest. I still had to look after the house and shopping. And I know everyone has to do that when they own their own home. But I would like another duvet day. That is basically what I am saying there.

Warm up.

I can never stress this enough. You should not do a workout without a warm up first. You should not do a fitness class if they don’t get you to warm up first. Minimum it’ll take five minutes of your time, max ten minutes. It doesn’t have to be long, just enough to get the heart pumping blood and your muscles and joints are warm.

Full body… Blast? BLAST?

I saw blast in the video cover and I think there was a moment of panic. Oh shit. Oh shit is right. If my body didn’t blast the fat away with this video I don’t know what will. The exercises were only thirty seconds but they were thirty seconds one after the other with no rest breaks between until the circuits were over. Oh shit, there were four circuits in total. I can’t remember how many exercises per circuit but let me just say I died. That wasn’t rhetorical.

Standing Abs.

This thing. This video right after the body blast. WHY!? haha, once again I thought I was possibly going to be sick, but I pushed through. I wasn’t sick but I was shattered. Holy hell… This was then followed by…

Brutal Abs.

I was shattered by the time I got to this video. But progress improvements, each exercise I managed to survive the full fifty seconds per exercise. My abs burned. Another day in which the sweat is pouring from my face.

Cool down.

Cool downs and stretches are just as important as the warm up. And today I am feeling the progress in the stretches too. My hip flexors and glutes still need a lot of attention and work but there is progress in my body somewhere.

I genuinely thought I was going to die. That first video, the fat blast, really knocked my body into another dimension. I am really trying to work hard for my body to be better and improve.
