She is an old girl too.
It is really easy because she seems so young and bouncy compared to Bandit. This makes it very easy to forget that she is the same age as Bandit which means. She is also an oldie.
I don’t know if this explains what was happening last week but as from my last post. She has been having accidents through the night. I am not sure why she has been having these accidents but she has been having them. She gets walked regularly. But for some reason she has been pooping in her bed.
Last night, I decided to stay downstairs at night to see what is going on. However, this idea fell short when I passed out and fell asleep. But my very good girl let me know what she needed. She found me, stuck her face in mine and whined. She woke me up.
When I woke up, I shot straight to the back door and let her out. She did her business. And yes, she pooped. It farted out of her. Once she was done she came back in. And that was it for the rest of the night. So, clearly what is happening is through the night she is getting so desperate and given that usually there is no one around to help her she goes when she has nowhere else to go. My poor old girl.
I’m not quite sure why this is happening. She seems totally fine everywhere else. So, this leads me to believe that she isn’t sick. I am hoping to resolve this so that she can go to sleep at night in peace. Not crying in bed hoping I eventually hear her upstairs, and then just going where she can. My plan is to change her routine. I usually feed the two of them in the evenings. Instead I am going to feed them in the morning before all walks.
I am going to continue to sleep down stairs in case she needs to wake me up again in the middle of the night. Once she can start making it through the night without doing that I will return upstairs and see how she does. Come on sweetie.
Thank you so much for reading. Write again soon. Bye!
