They travelled in complete silence. Halina had not forgiven him. He also seemed to have distanced himself from her. Once they were inside the city they remained in the hideout until they received orders from Ramses. It took a couple of days, but the letter arrived.

Return her to her brother. Pretend to be holding her as a hostage so that she may re-integrate with him without suspicion. Once that is complete you will watch her to make sure she completes her tasks.

The note was simple and had nothing else. Galahad gave a heavy sigh and started pulling together some rope. He approached her with the thick binds. Halina watched him while her brow furrowed.

“Absolutely not”. She snapped. “Not before you talk to me”.

“What do you want me to say?”. He asked shrugging his shoulders.

“I want you to talk to me, not act like we will never see each other again, not pretend that we didn’t have a moment”. She snatched the rope from his hands and threw it across the room. “Everything I am being forced to do is in the benefit of someone else, I’d like to do something that benefits me”.
