Poetry Story 7

Handsome, that helped,
Charisma,
                  Confidence?
                  Or arrogance?
Both worked well in her favor,
Clothes clean, expensive, out of place.
Her target set.
The approach had to be perfect,
The manipulation key,
Execution flawless.
All she needed was an eye catching moment.
A single moment.
An edge of urgency in only chances.
Throw the hook, brush passed, catch the eye,
Reel him in, a smile he’ll ache to ask about.
Let him follow, like a lost pup,
Though he believes he’s a wolf,
She subtle taunts
Dangles herself like bait
He snatches more than anticipated.
Mistress was the aim, bride was what she gained…
Bride and princess.
